It really depends on what treatment you have carried out at the dentist. Most people have a dental check-up/emergency appointment and can cost around £31.50 (privately). This would be the initial cost to be seen at the practice. Any further treatment to get you out of pain would cost extra. This would include diagnostic tests also such as dental x rays or scans. A temporary dressing/filling may be required that can be around £40. All the fees should be explained to you prior to seeing the dentist and you won’t be forced to have any treatment. You will also be informed about the estimated fees and be given a treatment plan prior to any dental work being undertaken.
