    After a thorough clinical examination, the dentist will explain the treatment that he recommends, an estimate of its cost and any alternatives that are available.

    Our practice follows a policy of preventive dental care and would recommend regular check-ups to minimise the need for dental treatment in the future. If you do not attend the surgery for a period of 2 years we will assume that you are receiving your dental care elsewhere and offer your place to another patient.

    We provide a range of ways to pay for your dental care and accept payment in cash, credit and debit cards. We can also offer care under the Birchgrove Dental Care Plan, DPAS, where payment is made monthly be direct debit. If this is of interest, please ask to speak to Beth, our Head of Practice, for further information.

    If you are not able to keep an appointment, please telephone the surgery as soon as possible. We require at least 72 hours (3 working days) notice to cancel all appointments. If you do not give us reasonable notice there will be a charge.

    Our cancellation charge is £20.00 per 20 minute appointment pro rata for hygiene appointments and £60 per 20 minute appointment pro rata for a dental appointment.

    All phone calls are recorded for monitoring and training purposes.
